Join Coast Art House for a relaxed, beginner-friendly watercolor workshop at the beautiful Santa Margarita Weaver Barn. Spend the day painting the sweeping view overlooking the Santa Margarita Valley, inspired by an on-site plein air watercolor painted at this special location.
This small-group workshop is led by Jay Stieler of Coast Art House and is designed for beginners, creative day-trippers, and anyone who wants to build confidence with watercolor in a welcoming setting.
You’ll learn foundational watercolor techniques you can use in any future painting, including washes, layering, color blending, brush control, and creating depth in a landscape. With class size limited to just 12 participants, there will be plenty of individual attention and time to ask questions.
